As a Certified Herbalist and Midwife, I specialize in women's health, You can feel safer knowing that a trained professional is making suggestions based on your medical history, constitution and lifestyle.
During appointments I always try to suggest herbal preparations based on your comfort level and lifestyle. It's always my goal that you leave my office with easy instructions on how to find and/or make your own herbal remedies.
I believe in holistic medicine, which means I focus on the "whole person", not just the malady itself. You'd be surprised at how often someone sees me for stomach pain, only to find out they've been very stressed about their job. Add some stress reducing herbs and suddenly the stomach pain is gone!
I believe herbal medicine should be cost effective. I'm not sure when natural medicine became so expensive, especially when the herbs themselves are not very pricey. Herbs kept my family healthy during one of our most challenging times financially. Herbalism is the people's medicine. I believe in low cost consultations and trying out herbs one or two at a time to see if it really is going to work for you.

A little about me...
In February 2012, Heart of Herbs Herbal School certified me as an Herbalist after two years of independent study and demonstrated skill with over 60 herbs. The main focus of my herbal studies was traditional, homemade, Western Herbalism, with a focus on women's health. Over the years my knowledge and practical use of herbs has grown substantially, including herbs from around the world.
Herbalism is very near and dear to my heart. I started studying herbal medicine over 10 years ago when my family was greatly affected by the recession and we lost jobs and our health insurance. To this day herbal medicine is still the main source of health care for my family of four.
