Would you love to have your baby in the comfort of your own home?

Are you tired of feeling like a number?

Do you want your care professional to spend more time with you?

Do you want real conversations about your life, health and wellbeing without judgement?

Do you have a partner, child or family members that you’d love to involve in your visits?

Do you want natural recommendations to help you during pregnancy, or have as little intervention as possible during your birth?

If you answered yes to most of these questions, then community based midwifery care is a great option for you!

Midwife Services

Community midwives are experts in normal, with specialized training for prenatal care, labor, birth and emergency skills in out of hospital settings.

A Certified Professional Midwife (CPM)®  is a knowledgeable, skilled and professional independent midwifery practitioner who has met the standards for certification set by the North American Registry of Midwives (NARM) and is qualified to provide the Midwives Model of Care. The CPM is the only midwifery credential that requires knowledge about and experience in out-of-hospital settings.

I am currently offering midwifery services for clients throughout their pregnancy, birth and the first 6 weeks postpartum.

Placenta Encapsulation

Tree of Life Salve-2_edited.png

I combine my training as a Certified Herbalist and Certified Professional Midwife with my placenta encapsulation services, by offering placenta preparation that includes additional herbal medicines that help with healing, recovery and peace for the postnatal mother.

Almost all mammals consume their placenta after giving birth. While there are many theories about why this is so, studies have shown that there are nutrients and hormones present in a placenta. While most mammals consume it raw, we have the ability to dehydrate it and place it into capsules that are easy to take.
